Activity Clubs - Extra Curricular Activities Spring 2012
Dear Parents
Once again, we are pleased to offer a wide variety of clubs for the Autumn term, which will start on Monday 9 January 2012 (unless stated otherwise).
If your child is interested in joining any of these clubs, please see the person running the club, who will keep a register of those attending. When helping your child select a suitable activity, please note that some clubs are limited to certain age groups and that it is expected that your child will remain committed to attending. Some new clubs will be starting later in the term and you will be given details of these on a separate letter.
If your child is unable to attend an after school club, it is very important that the person running the club is informed by parents in advance. (If your child is absent from school, a message will automatically be passed on.)
Please remember that all clubs will continue to take place, regardless of the weather, as the clubs will move indoors, if necessary. In the event of bad weather, your child is expected to stay at school until the scheduled end of the club unless parents have informed the club leader otherwise. If a club has to be cancelled for any other reason, parents will be informed in writing with a least 24 hours notice.
Information about clubs/matches and other local sports organisations and events can be found on the Sports Notice Board in the cloakroom by Class 14 and Class 8.
