Class and Birthday Assemblies
Autumn Term 2011
Please make a note of the dates of this term's Birthday and Class Assemblies. As usual, Classes 1 and 2 may not be joining us until after half-term and will have their own special celebration towards the end of term.
The assemblies will take place on Fridays at approximately 9:15 am and will normally be in the Large Hall. You are welcome to join us for your child's class assembly and if your child has helped to make the birthday cake (on a date near to their birthday), you will receive an invitation to the appropriate assembly.
Younger brothers and sisters are encouraged to attend with their parents, but please bear in mind that a very restless younger child can distract a whole class of 5 or 6 year olds who are trying hard to share thoughts and achievements with everyone, so please do be sensitive to this as well - it requires bravery and a lack of distractions to stand up and sing a song / dance / say a poem in front of almost 200 people!
